Xiaomi’s famous MiPad tablet, that we tested here is ready to go on sale in Malaysia and there’s a teaser confirming that on Facebook, on the Mi Malaysia page. The product runs Android with MIUI on top and may need a workaround to get the Play Store on it.

Inside we find the famous Nvidia Tegra K1 processor, in the initial version, not the new 64 bit one. The CPU is a quad core one, clocked at 2.2 GHz and the product also comes with a 7.9 inch display, with a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution and an IPS LCD panel. At the back we’ve got a 8 megapixel shooter, that produced solid results in our tests and we’re also covered with a selfie 5 MP shooter upfront.

This model has 2 GB of RAM, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi dual band and between 16 and 64 GB of storage. Xiaomi MiPad comes in a variety of colors, it has a slippery case and a 6700 mAh battery, that gave us 10 hours of functioning. Are you getting one?

Today, the Taiwanese producer ASUS announced the launch of a new color option for the MeMo Pad 7 (ME572CL) tablet, more precisely the pink variation. As you may know, this tablet is already available on the market in other three colors: champagne, burgundy red and gentle black.

Asus MeMo Pad 7 (ME572CL) arrives with a 7 inch Full HD IPS LCD display (1.920 x 1.080 pixels), an Intel Atom Z3560 processor clocked at 1.86 GHz (64-bit), an Intel XMM7160 LTE modem, 1 GB of RAM memory, 16 GB space of internal storage, a 5-megapixel rear CMOS sensor and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

Other specs include 4G LTE connectivity (up to 150 Mbps in download / 50 Mbps in upload), Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, a microUSB v2.0 port and a 3.5 mm audio jack. This model runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat with the ZenUI custom interface applied on top.
